- “I guess I’m just meant to be fat.”
In many cases they are 100% correct. It IS their metabolism. But that’s not some unlucky curse! That’s not some death sentence. And, by the way, you are NOT meant to be fat!
Science shows that there are numerous things that CAN alter or slow your metabolism. Here are a handful of examples:
- Hormonal changes
- Significant life stresses
- Major health issues
- Sedentary jobs
- Your body’s composition - % of muscle, fat, water, etc.
- What you eat
Of course, these are just a few things. But here’s the deal: Science also shows there are many things that can alter your metabolism for the BETTER! Your metabolism may have been impacted and slowed … BUT the good news is this:
